XV. Hacettepe University International Macsabal Silk Road Symposium

Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass, will host the 15th International Macsabal Silk Road Symposium this year from October 1-10, 2025, welcoming 12 invited artists from Chile, India, Egypt, Northern Cyprus, and Turkiye. This year, Kim Yongmoon, the creator of the Macsabal Symposium, who passed away on July 3, 2025, and who served as a visiting faculty member at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass for 15 years, will also be memorialized. Throughout the symposium, students from the Ceramics and Glass Department at Hacettepe University will assist the artists. The symposium has been organized for fifteen years with the support of the Korean Cultural Center and, this year, with the valuable contributions of İş Portföy, ÇAĞSAV, and Refsan.
